The North American International Auto Show is just around the corner. That event is one of the largest of its kind and it can be expected to hold this year the event will draw many major car manufacturers. But major carmakers such as General Motors, Ford and Chrysler are not the only who will unveil their new vehicles. Niche manufacturers such as Quantum Fuel Systems will also present their new vehicle at the event come.

Quantum is a fully integrated alternative energy and specializes in developing and manufacturing systems advanced propulsion. With the growing demand for green vehicles, but high efficiency, companies such as Quantum have been enjoying much success and popularity.

At the NAIAS, the company will unveil the Fisker Hybrid that it developed with Fisker Automotive Inc. There would places at the event, where the Fisker Hybrid sedan will be displayed. The main display of said hybrid vehicle will be at the Oakland Hall OAK9 booth. The second hybrid sedan will be displayed with a solar-based charging station. That station has been developed by Quantum in conjunction with the German energy company advanced solar Asola and Automotive Solar Systems GmbH. One can see in the hall of Michigan Booth MH24.

The Fisker Hybrid is expected to deploy as a 2010 model year. Deliveries of the hybrid premium sedan should start at fourth quarter of 2009. Manufacturers of Hybrid Fisker has announced that they plan to manufacture about 15,000 units annually.

Contribution Quantum in hybrid Fisker is its Q-drive vehicle architecture. It is this technology that makes the Fisker Hybrid a hybrid vehicle. On battery alone, The Fisker Hybrid sedan can cover about 50 miles. This means that it is a green car for those who travel only short distances. For long distance travel, the Q-Drive allows use of the internal combustion engine and battery. As it is for the luxury car class, hopefully it is designed for performance optimal. This means that the Fisker Hybrid will be equipped with auto parts as reliable as the "Radiator> Mitsubishi 300 GT radiator.
