Wise decision to buy a BMW 325i Sedan 1993??
Hello, I recently tried to buy a BMW 325i Sedan 1993. my friend has one (5 speed stick) and he really made an impression on me. I'm 18 now, and I plan on buying and keeping it for at least a year or two. I read lots of reviews on this site (which is kick-a $ $) and very useful. I also read that electric indicators tend to running after a while .. and this vehicle is 15 years. not too bad, I suppose? I will work at a gas station about 0.25 miles in my area that specializes in BMW repair. I hope I can get a discount:) If I change my job so I want to work as a mechanic. to I can learn to repair cars for the rest of my life. I just wanted to know, do you think is a wise decision to purchase in 1993, a BMW 325i? I know I need to look for miles and such ... I would buy one with around 50K-85K already on it. and I decided to cancel $ 1K - $ 2K for future repairs.
If you plan to do more of your own work, this is not a bad car. If you wish pay for the work you can sink frightening power of money in it. Parties are not really expensive, contrary to popular belief. You just need to find good sources, several times used the online medium. (pelicanparts.com is my favorite) Get on Bimmerforums.com failures and seek common E36 is of particular those relating to the M50 and related components.
