BMW Electrical Problems
89 BMW 735IL electrical problem?
I have an intermittent Tail Light / Parking Light problem. It looks like a short film. Sometimes, work lights, sometimes they come when I'm driving. Sometimes stopping the car and re-start settlement. Sometime twist beam wiring to the rear panel behind the trunk, sometimes taking the bulb ... Is it some "Modual" issue in the fuse box? What trips this thing, and why is it constant?
The light module is a big black box under the dash driver side about 20 pins on it. However, I do not think that's your problem. If you shake the son and she returned it sounds more like a bad ground wire or evil. I also seen problems when you use the wrong type of bulbs on German cars. They come with bulbs Nickle and people put in those copper based. They conduct electricity and the different variation of resistance can cause strange things happen. Remove the bulbs and make sure there any silver-colored (Nickle) Then start looking worn cables or support points that were loose.
