German carmaker Volkswagen finally gets a small SUV that is based on the GTI.
With the exhaust system improved that will produce clean gas, the Tiguan is clean diesel is a first in the segment. Volkswagen said that like any other VW vehicle, the Tiguan should be effective and efficient.
Volkswagen Concept Tiguan gives the automotive industry with a good overview of this small SUV like the company when it comes production times during the quarter in a row next year. The Golf-based beam is designed to compete with the likes of the Ford Escape, Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4 - for what some also call the race for supremacy cute. This VW concept has a strong resemblance to his member of the family car, the Touareg, which is considered the big brother. However, there is also evidence of the Volkswagen Concept A that was shown last spring at the auto show Geneva.
The Concept Tiguan is a good looker with its aggressive face and taut body lines that work well with its compact dimensions. As always, VW waters work well enough chrome and bright around the body to give the vehicle a little glow without appearing gaudy. The car also has the roof panel black or panel panoramic roof. It reminds people of the panels in carbon fiber that BMW puts on some of its cars also M. The concept of sport nineteen-inch Continental tires with body matching orange trim and xenon headlamps that appear to float freely inside their housings.
Tires are exceptionally appealing with a light red color in each hollow. The interior has plenty of space which is good for five family members, including the driver.
Under the hood, the Tiguan Concept is a 2.0 liter "Clean TDI" diesel engine. This is what VW calls "a diesel engine of the next generation." This engine produces 140 horsepower and 200 ft / lbs of torque. It runs much cleaner than existing plants thank you diesel in part to a catalytic converter that is capable of reduce nitrogen oxides by ninety percent over today's diesels. Of course, this "clean TDI" not only meets to stringent emission standards in the United States, but also those around the world.
When the Tiguan reaches production, buyers have three options Engine: the aforementioned diesel, VW's impressive 2.0-liter turbo four, and possibly even a V-6.
