Global Login System $70.1 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Global Login System is a single signon open source protocol, designed to allow any user logged in on his or her account to one of the sites using it, to be authenticated when visiting any other site using it. It aims to be used universally over the Internet, so that each user only needs to have one account with login and password on one designated home site, in order to access anything and operate anywhere on the web that s/he is allowed to. Its difference from other single signon systems is that there is no central database of users, so that this system can scale indefinitely by allowing every site of the network to have a separate (hidden) list of users. BMW 507 $71.7 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The BMW 507 is a roadster produced by BMW from 1956 to 1959. Initially intended to be exported to the United States at a rate of thousands per year, it ended up being too expensive, resulting in a total production figure of 252 cars and heavy losses for BMW. The BMW 507 was conceived by US automobile importer Max Hoffman who, in 1954, persuaded the BMW management to produce a roadster version of the BMW 501 and BMW 502 saloons to fill the gap between the expensive MercedesBenz 300SL and the cheap and underpowered Triumph and MG sports cars. BMW in Motorsport $116.3 Throughout its history, BMW cars and motorcycles have been successful in a range of motorsport activities. Mainly before WW2, BMW motorcycles were winning e.g. at the Isle of Man TT. Apart from the factory efforts, many privateer teams enter BMW road cars in Touring car racing. BMW also entered cars or provided engines in Formula One, Formula Two and sportscar racing. BMW is currently active in ALMS, Formula One, the World Touring Car Championship (WTCe and the World Superbike Championship. An outstanding role played the 1500 cc BMW M10 engine block. The four cylinder started with modest 75 hp (56 kW) in 1961, became successful in touring cars, developed over 300 hp (224 kW) in 1970s Formula Two, and at the ripe age of a quarter century, produced almost twentyfold its original power in the 1986 turbocharged BMW M12/13/1. As the base of the BMW S14 engine of the original BMW M3, it collected many more wins. BMW M1 $70.1 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The BMW M1 was a sports car that was produced by German automaker BMW from 1978 to 1981. In the late 1970s, Italian manufacturer Lamborghini entered into an agreement with BMW to build a production racing car in sufficient quantity for homologation. The result was sold to the public, from 1978 to 1981, as the BMW M1. It was the only midengined BMW to be mass produced. It employed a twincam M88/1 3.5 L 6 cylinder gasoline engine with Kugelfischer mechanical fuel injection. A version of this motor was later used in the South African version of the BMW 735i, of which 209 examples were built between 1984 and 1986, as well as the E24 BMW M6/M635CSi and E28 BMW M5. The engine had six separate throttle butterflies, four valves per cylinder and produced 277 PS (204 kW; 273 hp) in the street version, giving a top speed of 260 km/h (160 mph). Turbocharged racing versions were capable of producing around 850 hp (634 kW). The M1 coupe was handbuilt between 1978 and 1981 under the Motorsport division of BMW as a homologation special for sports car racing.
