BMW Maintenance
Hi, I need some clarity on the maintenance of BMW? If I opt for a certified Arnd 20k miles and 2006 do?
This would be my first car and tried of buying a new Camry or an agreement Incase maintenance would be costly. Your contributions are very appreciated?
If this is really a CPO (certified used) BMW so there's not much to fear. The original warrenty applies Miles 4yrs.50k bumper and is about to bumper. Virtually all maintenance is covered. Thus, under the original manufacturer warrenty, you do not have much fear - and again, which also includes maintenance. Under the CPO warrenty (6 miles for yrs/100k initial date of service) is still very warrenty good. It does not "cuts" the base, or items that normally wear (such as tires, brakes, belts) or normal maintenance. Most other posts concern only $ 50 payment for each time you get to repair warrenty. So if two or three articles to fix, to bring to each and pay only $ 50. Items covered by CPO practically everything that does not normally wear. Some items would be the most bizarre rain sensor, resistors final stage, fan, air conditioning compressor, so you get the picture. Insofar as maintenance goes, there's really not too much. If you can not service an American or Japanese car, you can service a BMW. Draining the oil it's like changing the oil in another car. Fluid Controls are the same. Draining the coolant is the same. I had my BMW (E39) for 95k miles (bought it CPO'ed) and did all the maintenance myself. I suppose that the total cost in parts (oil changes, fluids radiator) for 40k miles that I was there about $ 400 in total. Tires were extra. But he added it all, the cost is about the same as my American truck made and approximate cost for any of my other cars / trucks I had. Oh and another thing. You thought to Camry or Accord. Both nice cars and I like both. Plus there are many cars out there that are faster. Cars Othere May be one or two things better, but in the end, a BMW does everything well. And I say to someone who says Alway their car (say, Toyota) is faster than mine. My answer? Well, your car may be a little more fast because you have changed, but in the end it always aToyota and it is in your garage and there is a BMW in mine! So far, person has never had a good comeback.
