BMW is one of the world's leading manufacturers of quality cars and motorcycles and is the parent company of the MINI and Rolls-Royce car brands. The acronym BMW stands for "Bayerische Motoren Werke" - or "Bavarian Motor Works" in English.

BMW models are classified according to the "Series" model car, for example, the 3 Series. BMW has a long history in motorsports, having been involved in motorsport since the creation the first BMW motorcycle.

BMW HISTORY

BMW was founded in 1913 to make aircraft engines, the transition to the production of motorcycles in 1923 and cars in 1929. Its factories were damaged during the Second World War and machine tools were confiscated by the Allies. BMW has gradually increased and in 1967 bought the company Hans Glas GmbH, one of which plants would become the largest factory of BMW.

BMW bought Rover Group in 1994, selling MG Rover and Land Rover in 2000, but retaining the rights to build the new MINI, launched in 2001.

BMW 7 Series (E38) $103.56 The BMW E38 model was the basis for the 1994 through 2001 BMW 7 Series automobiles. It replaced the BMW E32 in 1995 and itself was replaced by the BMW E65/E66 for the 2002 model year.
