BMW Motorsport
After two races in North American cities, Formula One brings back a taste for the campaign as it reaches the point midway this season. The Pilots will start at Magny-Cours on 1 July to compete for the most coveted title in the race. For the BMW Sauber team, the goal is to get the two-car finish.
After Robert Kubicaâ € ™ s terrible crash in Montreal, and after a number of departures unwanted retirement, the team intends to go full throttle at Magny-Cours to enjoy the circuit € ™ s offer. A crash and retirement saw the BMW Sauber leave North America to feel cheated. The team expects to run lighting comparable a title = "BMW rear lights"> BMW taillights. â € OETH Magny-Cours has much to offer â € "two baffles delicate, high speed section and some slow corners. Iâ € ™ m looking forward to the weekend. The track is demanding, I like the countryside around circuit and you tend to eat very well in France. There € ™ s not a lot going on in Magny-Cours and it gets its fair share of criticism as a result. But I like a little peace and quiet now and again, â € said Nick Heidfeld.
Kubica noted, â € OEI-can € ™ t wait to get back in the car. I may not have been given the green light to compete in the U.S., but I hope medical examination at Magny-Cours is a formality. Why wasnâ ™ € t allowed to drive at Indianapolis had nothing to do with what I felt the problem was the risk of suffering a second accident in this period. Thata € ™ s why wasnâ ™ € t allowed to test. Iâ € ™ ve used the time to focus intensively on preparing for the next race.â €
The center added, â € oeia € ™ m fairly neutral about the Magny-Cours track. It nâ € ™ t one of my circuits favorites, but at the same time, I nâ ™ € t have a problem with it. Magny-Cours is much more fun in a Formula One car with small Cars IA ™ € ve driven there before in other racing categories. You can especially see the potential of the F1 car in the € chicanes.â
Mario Theissen, BMW Motorsport Director, said: â € œAfter Grand Prix double header in major cities across the Atlantic, the idyllic countryside not far from Magny-Cours is a welcome contrast. You are free to concentrate on sport and trail running technique. As Robert itself, the team also hopes it will be back in the car in France. Doctors race at Magny-Cours has the last word on this one though.â €
He added, â € œWe have finished in the points in every race so far this season, but in both last GP we managed to get a car on arrival at every opportunity. Nick was set for a third place United States and his retirement was a real pain. We try to make points with both cars at Magny-Cours and thereby strengthen our third place in the world Championship.â €
â € OETH two Grands Prix in North America saw the cars run with support means, but now Weâ ™ € st position in a series of races where a lot of support, will be on the agenda. Magny-Cours offers an interesting mix of corners slow and fast. One feature to note is the track surface, which is very sensitive to temperature fluctuations. The proper set-up in the morning may not necessarily good afternoon. It's something you must remember when youâ ™ € re making changes to the car, â € BMW Sauber said € ™ s Technical Director Willy Rampf.

BMW M1 $70.1 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The BMW M1 was a sports car that was produced by German automaker BMW from 1978 to 1981. In the late 1970s, Italian manufacturer Lamborghini entered into an agreement with BMW to build a production racing car in sufficient quantity for homologation. The result was sold to the public, from 1978 to 1981, as the BMW M1. It was the only midengined BMW to be mass produced. It employed a twincam M88/1 3.5 L 6 cylinder gasoline engine with Kugelfischer mechanical fuel injection. A version of this motor was later used in the South African version of the BMW 735i, of which 209 examples were built between 1984 and 1986, as well as the E24 BMW M6/M635CSi and E28 BMW M5. The engine had six separate throttle butterflies, four valves per cylinder and produced 277 PS (204 kW; 273 hp) in the street version, giving a top speed of 260 km/h (160 mph). Turbocharged racing versions were capable of producing around 850 hp (634 kW). The M1 coupe was handbuilt between 1978 and 1981 under the Motorsport division of BMW as a homologation special for sports car racing. Motorsport in Australia $113.11 Motorsport is a popular spectator sport in Australia, although there are relatively few competitors compared to other sports due to the high costs of competing. The most widely watched motorsport is V8 Supercars, especially at the Bathurst 1000. Other classes in Australia include Formula 3 and Formula Ford (open wheel racing), Superbikes, and touring cars. Since 1985, Australia has hosted a round of the Formula One World Championship. For the first 10 years, the Australian Grand Prix was held in Adelaide as the last round of the championship. Adelaide played host to several title deciders; for example, the 1986 title, where Alain Prost successfully defended his championship after Nigel Mansells left rear tyre exploded; the 1994 title was also decided in questionable circumstances, after Michael Schumacher collided with his rival Damon Hill to win the title by a single point. Melbourne replaced Adelaide as host from 1996 onwards. Two Australians have won the World Drivers Championship: Jack Brabham, who won the title on three occasions; and Alan Jones, who won in 1980. Mark Webber is currently the only Australian Formula One driver. Exclusively for BMWs, the championship is run by the BMW Racing Drivers Club in conjunction with the British Automobile Racing Club (BARC). It provides close competition in four classes split by a power to weight ratio.
