In the news: Audi and Volkswagen have recently opened their central warehouse, the Audi Volkswagen Middle East Parts in downtown Jebel Ali Free Zone or Jafza for short. The warehouse facility was $ 10 million contain an initial stock of 40,000 pieces including of course the popular line of auto parts sold by the manufacturer automotive radiator hose as Volkswagen and others. The total value of all these pieces is $ 7 million and are tracked through a dedicated team management on the site.
The opening of the Volkswagen, Audi Middle East Parts Center held a grand ceremony at the site and attended by prominent personalities Jafza as Sheikh Majid bin Said bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, head of the Ajman Amiri Court Jamal Majid Bin Thaniyah, vice president of Dubai World and Group CEO of Ports and Free Zones World and Salma Hareb, CEO Jafza and Economic Zones World. Also present at the ceremony were Ernst Hasbach who is the CEO of Audi Volkswagen Middle East FZE and Klaus Hellmann, Board member, Hellmann Worldwide Logistics.
Bin Thaniyah in his speech during the ceremony, welcomed the effort of the Volkswagen Group for their successful work and wished them all more success in his latest adventure. Here are excerpts from Bin ThaniyahÂ's:

Last April 2006, the bid for the construction of the Volkswagen, Audi Middle East Parts Center was awarded to Rudolph Hellmann Logistics. And through their cooperation, Audi and Volkswagen will aim to improve service levels across the region and promote the use of genuine spare parts to ensure the safety of the vehicle.
