As long as a used car is sold with a written and specific warranty, it qualifies under the Lemon Law of California. The car must not have been purchased for commercial purposes. As with all other applications for vehicles, the California Auto Lemon Law covers only one car hand which was bought for personal, family or household.
Precautions must be taken to introduce defects and inherent problems of the car made by a certified mechanic at the time of purchase. If the vehicle was purchased without a warranty that covers these defects, the buyer will have a very difficult time making a case under the California Auto Lemon Law. Unscrupulous sellers will not hesitate to try to sell the buyer a Â'lemon 'previously returned to those same faults.
California car Lemon Law also applies to leased vehicles, as they have been hired by the warranty. With all vehicles, such as a guarantee Not valid for 18.000 miles, once the use of roads or 18 months have elapsed since the purchase, if the guarantee specifies mileage high or period.
Until the first repair attempt took place in the specified warranty period, a vehicle rented or purchased may be eligible under the California Used Car Lemon Law, even after this period.
Basically, you can get a refund or complete the repair satisfaction of a used vehicle purchased or leased as easily as we can for a new car, too long as the used car was bought for private, noncommercial use. Used Vehicles are not the only vehicles covered by California Auto Lemon Law. It also applies to recreational vehicles (RVs), motor homes of all kinds, motorcycles, boats and other vehicles.
