So the challenge is to provide low fuel consumption while maintaining the speed and acceleration. The Ecomobile is a response to this challenge.
The Ecomobile is manufactured by Swiss company Peraves. Although it does fossil fuel that has low fuel consumption. The Ecomobile is also available in the United States. It is distributed in the United States by a dealer located in North Carolina.
The Ecomobile is a combination of automotive / motorcycle, or motorcycle, modified with an automobile body. The wheelbase looks like a big bike with training wheels, while the body section resembles the cockpit of an airplane.
The Ecomobile is powered by a rear-mounted cooling Liquid, 4-cylinder BMW K series motorcycle engine that can reach a top speed exceeding 155 mph. And it can accelerate from 0 to 100 miles per hour in 5.7 seconds. It produces 130 HP @ 8750 rpm.
The body is composite-monocoque made from Kevlar and woven glass bonded with Araldite Epoxy resin. It is reinforced by roll call and crash-protection bars. The engine mount and steering head in argon are welded to the arc Aircraft-grade steel. It is equipped aircraft quality steel roll-supporting axles.
The body has a gull wing door with sunroof Integrated left. There is a baggage compartment in the rear.
This unusual vehicle weighed 1014.1 pounds and is approximately along 12 feet by 4 feet wide. It is approximately 5 feet tall.
Instead of a steering wheel, is operated by a handlebar with motorcycle-type functions extended. The auxiliary brake lever and throttle Twist are located on the right handlebar. The brakes are operated by the right pedal.
Interior includes two car seats leather color style equipped with automatic safety belts. He soundproof padding black velvet and the sound of carpet delete. There is a self-locking of the luggage compartment cover complete with integrated head restraints.
Other comfort have a heating and ventilation fan with three steps, mirror defogging, seat heating and full air-conditioning. It has a Becker Mexico RDS audio system and GPS is available as an option. A CD player is another option.
All efforts have been made to make the operation body and look like an automobile while the vehicle is operated like a motorcycle.
