The BMW X5 was BMW's first mid-SUV crossover. Also, always branded as a BMW X5 SAV or a vehicle sporting activity because of capacity on the route. Since 1999 until now, all BMW X5S are both manufactured and assembled in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

The X5 is a front engine, four wheel drive mid-size crossover equal five-door SUV. It uses the feature-wheel drive and is available in different kinds of engines such as inline-six, V8, and diesel powertrains. The second generation BMW X5 is based mainly on the E70 platform was released in November 2006. She changed into a replacement platform E53 BMW that was used by the previous generation X5.
