BMW Wagon Diesel
Billed as a new model for 1980, the Volkswagen Jetta has captivated the public to purchase a car for 28 years. The Jetta, Volkswagen named after the jet stream is the sedan version of Volkswagen's compact Golf innovative. The Jetta, developed for the North American market, is an upscale model with more beautiful interior trim, a trunk, and a price slightly higher than the Golf. Since its beginnings as a new model, the Jetta has evolved five times, each generation grows in size, power and prestige. The Jetta is available in two, four and five doors (Jetta wagon) changes.
The first generation Jetta, called the A1 and produced from 1980 to 1984, have burst onto the North American market in 1980. It was available as of two-door coupe and four-door sedan. This Jetta Italdesign first style was a perfect boxy. A standard four-cylinder engine of 78 horse-powered Jetta A1. Powerhouse in the Jetta has been updated to produce a higher torque 1.7-liter four-cylinder in 1981. A diesel version of the engine was offered. Volkswagen has also produced a high-performance Jetta GLI with a 1.8 liter engine in 1984.
The second generation and the older generation the car was produced from 1985 to 1992. The A2 has been proposed as a coupe or sedan. The A2 Jetta seen a number of external interior, engine, and upgrading security. A 1.8-liter four-cylinder producing 100 horsepower at the origin and later 105 horsepower powered models based on the A2. The 1990 Jetta GLI was muscular with a 2.0-liter DOHC 16-valve four-cylinder engine that produces 134 horsepower and establishes strongly Jetta GLI as a serious contender performance.
The Jetta A3 began for the North American market in 1993. This design sexy boxy was conducted internally by Volkswagen and has been offered as a sedan. The Jetta A3 was produced until 1998. This generation of the Jetta has produced more variation finisher, 13, and all other generations of the car. The Jetta A3 had three power available. The base was 2.0 liter inline four cylinder producing 115 horsepower. The Jetta diesel TDI is a 1.9 liter diesel engine rated at 90 horsepower. And on top of the power line was the GLX (replacing the A2 model has high performance GLI) VR6 engine was a SOHC engine six-cylinder producing 172 horsepower.
The evolution quarter of the Jetta, the A4 was produced between 1998 and 2005. It has been proposed as a sedan and wagon. The Jetta shares his style with the rest of the Big Volkswagen and is an outstanding example of the brand. The A4 has been available in a variety variations in base and buyers could choose between three different plants. The first was 2.0-liter, 8-valve, inline four-cylinder engine an update of the A3. The second was Volkswagen's 1.9 liter TDI diesel engine. The third was a VR6 updated.
The Jetta A5 debuted as a new model in 2005. And is still in production. The A5 has been renovated and is powered by a 2.5-liter 20-valve, DOHC, inline engine 5-cylinder based on the Lamborghini Gallardo V-10 power plant. This engine produces 150 horsepower.
