BMW Wheels
If my standard BMW 16 "factory wheels and I put brand new 18" alloys on them I?
If my BMW has standard 16 "wheels factory and put brand new 18 "alloys to them that I must also change the brake calipers discs and any l '? I read in a book that chav's are always the mistake of putting a fancy body kit and huge wheels but leaving the brakes factory in miniature? I am not sure if this applies to BMW, this is not the end its just a 3 series. But I want to make sure to do well. Thank you.
Hi No, you do not need to change your brakes, it is not necessary that the brake calipers, pads and discs that you are not influenced by the size of the wheel. The only reason you may want to change them is so they look better, purely cosmetic reasons. The bottom of the current 3 Series range in Europe is the 316i, it comes with 16-inch wheels, however, 18 or 19 inch wheels may be specified new BMW without changes in the brakes. Andy
