Concept BMWs
Bayerische Motoren Werke AG took advantage of the ninth Middle East International Motor Show unveiling of its two series of concept cars and the new M3 Coupe.
The new BMW M3 features a powerful V8 engine of 420 horsepower. The M3 can speed 0-100 km / h in just 4.8 seconds. In the Middle East, the M3 will go on sale this coming January. BMW Concept Car, the low-CS is a four-door Gran Turismo for the luxury segment in the Middle East is going into production two years from now. Another plaque was unveiled for the Series Concept X6. With its twin-turbo BMW X6 marks the first as a sports coupe in the business world.
Phil Horton, director of BMW Group Middle East, the region could make the top five worldwide with sales X6 affected. The M6 will be the dealers in mid-2008.
"It will be a key market. I think if the company could design a car specifically for the Middle - East This is the X6. It looks good and will offer two engines power twin-turbo, "he said.
For 2007, the BMW X5 was the best selling BMW in the Middle East. The X5 covers 15 percent of total BMW sales in the region. The X5 is followed by the 5 (including the 530i and its title = "BMW 530i parts"> BMW 530i parts) and Series 7.
Sales Trends varies from U.S. and Europe, where the series 3, smaller than the other represents 50 percent of sales for BMW. Before 2007 ends, BMW aims to sell about 15,000 BMW and Mini 700, these figures represent an increase of 25 per cent of sales for BMW and increase of 25 percent for Mini sales.
"We are looking for good growth for next year. Depending on the political situation Regional, we could easily see 10-15 percent growth in the market for BMW, "said Horton.
As the third quarter of the year ended, BMW reported a net profit jumped 78 percent due to higher sales and BMW sees sales increase even before 2007 ends. With the result of those sales, BMW is maintaining its position as the world's largest automaker upscale.
"The greatest opportunities growth for carmakers BMW and most others in China, India and Russia, "said Horton.
"With our [Middle East] The levels of growth, which clearly puts us in the top ten ranking. The markets of America and Europe will not develop into something like this levels. "
