In recent years, rumors of a pending "invasion" of the consumer market in the United States by cheaply prices (and cheaply made), Chinese cars have surfaced from time to time.
First, it was Chery Automobile, a company continued by General Motors to have a name too close to Chevy, the nickname of the "iconic brand GM Chevrolet. A company founded by Malcolm Bricklin, who brought the evil Yugo fame on our shores in the 1980s intended to bring these cars Chery Stateside as recently as 2006, but this company failed and Mr. Bricklin is in a legal dispute with his Chinese partners.

Brilliance Auto in the 2009 NAIAS
Auto Show this year in Detroit (North American International Auto Show or NAIAS) featured a handful of models to choose from Chinese companies, but none has promised that Brilliance Auto plans to do in 2009: put their cars on display and begin to sell the same year the United States.
Brilliance said they would send their midsize sedan BS6, BS4 compact car, BC3 sports coupe, and FRV hatchback Detroit for the 2009 NAIAS and start selling their cars later in America in 2009. In addition, officials of the company that this promise in December of each model will feature tight security of the United States and emissions testing.
Advice brightness
While I certainly commend Brilliance for their perseverance, I can offer advice to business before they appear in Detroit this January:
Change the name of your models - the United States, does not BS Brilliance Sedan - it is not proper etiquette explain exactly what these letters mean, but it has something to do with cattle dung.
Build better - The federal government will need your car to pass U.S. tests also no model Brilliance will be allowed into U.S. ports. Once you get down, you must ensure that your car can withstand the test of time. U.S. drivers are picky and hope their vehicles to last without bumpers falling off, the decay side panels, windows or windscreen broken.
Hiring a firm Public Relations of the United States - working with a public relations firm that understands the American national automobile market and be ready to listen to their advice. Part of what they have to say frustrate you, but be prepared to make changes as needed. Rent a crack team of writers, who can translate documents from Mandarin to English perfectly. U.S. consumers will laugh at the documentation for your mistranslated.
Will Brilliance Stateside success? It depends - cars must be of decent quality, selling price, and will be supported by a generous warranty. You can bet that the first model of Brilliance is an accident, the new crew will descend to see how he resisted the accident and the damage was done. If things get ugly, YouTube could become the worst public relations nightmare for the automotive industry Chinese flight.
