E34 Performance Parts
German-Swiss Formula One BMW Sauber team will participate in the next race of the season in familiar territory. The next round will take place at the Nurburgring in Nurburg, Germany. The team will leave in the European Grand Prix as the race is billed, cemented third place and further than nearest rival Renault.
In the races leading to the French and British Grands Prix, Renault has had a good performance after a poor start to the season. But the French and British Grand Prix, BMW Sauber finished better than Renault to increase its lead over the French team in Formula One
In the Grand Prix of Great Britain, BMW Sauber's Robert Kubica finished fourth while teammate Nick Heidfeld secured sixth place. Both drivers finished better than Renault, Heikki Kovalainen and Giancarlo Fisichella who finished seventh and eighth, respectively.
As a result, BMW Sauber, will enter the Grand Prix of Europe with the title "Best of the Rest." This refers to the teams behind leaders McLaren and Ferrari which has a monopoly of victories this season. Of the nine races so far, four was won by McLaren, while Ferrari has five. Curiously, it is McLaren, who is on top of the constructors' championship.
With the next race in Germany, BMW Sauber boss Mario Theissen is convinced that have repelled the challenge posed by Renault, at least for now. Theissen also praised the performance of their drivers in the Grand Prix of Great Britain. "We have experienced a tough battle for our 'fourth reserved' in Silverstone, as Robert felt the breath of Felipe Massa during the final 13 laps, "said Theissen."
