E46 Engine
Earlier, the BMW Z4 was available as a roadster, but in 2006 a coupe was officially launched. The last vehicle of the first generation BMW Z4 model was assembled in North America left the assembly line on August 27, in 2008.
Z4 offer a range of four engines Rectal 6 - 2.2 L, 2.5L, 3 L and 3.2 L. These are all variants of the BMW M54 engine. A 2 L 4 flies is also offered in the European market. The most powerful car in the line-up Z4 Z4 M. It uses the same engine that uses E46 BMW M3.
Due to differences in orientation is not as fast as the M3. In 2006, BMW updated line by the introduction of the Z4 M Roadster, M Coupe with the M S54 engine, which gives the power of 330 hp.
Now, the next generation of models BMW Z4 are all ready for launch, with a number of advanced features, including improved safety, including advanced braking guard anti-theft, and interiors renovated.

2010 BMW Z4 is certainly very impressive, but less cargo space and road noise are considerably high two of its known shortcomings.
