How long should it take for a foreign car repair in the United States?
My friend has a car accident in May and it has yet his car! He plowed into someone, so I know the end before everything was broken, and he said something about leaks antifreeze. Anyway he took it to a friend instead of a dealership, and there are more than a month and a half! I keep saying it might be something fishy going on but he hopes that his friend and do not believe me. He has a BMW X3, and his friend keeps saying that it is taking so long because parts come from Germany. Drivers are not enough for BMW in the U.S. they stock parts here? Do you think it is BS going it? Or is it normal for a foreign car to take so long?
it depends on the parts ordered but usually the pieces are here to USA unless something is out of stock or obsolete, you didn't tell the year of the car, I own a shop myself and it usually does take me a little more time to repair my car friends because they expect to make the deals work, sorry but a friend or if I have a client willing to pay a high price to do work that will come before the work Im doing the favor of

BMW 003 $92.4 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles The BMW 003 was an early axialflow turbojet engine produced by BMW AG in Germany during World War II. It and the Junkers Jumo 004 were the only German turbojet engines to reach production during World War II. Work had begun on the design of the BMW 003 before its contemporary, the Junkers Jumo 004 engine, but prolonged developmental problems meant that the BMW 003 entered production much later, and the aircraft projects that had been designed with it in mind were reengined with the Jumo powerplant instead. The most famous case of this was the Messerschmitt Me 262, in two of the Vseries prototypes and in the two experimental A1b aircraft, and the same was true of the Arado Ar 234 and Horten Ho 229. The only production aircraft to use the BMW 003 were the Heinkel He 162 and late, fourengined versions of the Arado Ar 234.
