Why not make hybird gas engines to steam?
BMW working on steam-gas hybrid and Ford should be too. It may be able to capture up to 80% of waste heat, and increase fuel efficiency. The block gas engine and waste heat exhaust gas, is used to produce steam. The engine block is in constant water temperature at 100 C for the complete mechanical design optimal. The exhaust heats the steam pressure and increase efficiency. For a system, all mechanical engines, it will be low power drive until the water vapor warms. A car electric motor could start at full power. The size of the battery should not be too high because it requires only sufficient to drive 10-15 minutes until the water vapor warms. Then, it generates much electricity to travel a long distance. When a person fills gas, they also meet with water. It is designed to have sufficient water and gas so they are consumed at about the same pace.
