BMW X3 - I changed the oil in my car but the indicator "when I start the engine still wonder" oil service?
Basically, I rinsed the used oil and poured in new oil in the engine BMW X3 2.5i. When I start the ignition, a beep occurs even on the electronic display, where the speedometer is. It displays Service Oil. How Can I remove the display and get rid of the beep?
even modern cars are equipped with sensors for virtually every stupid thing. Same if you move the air filter and replace it immediately triggers a sensor fuel, air and oil systems are very sensored and monitored. big brother government does not want the average person to pilot messes with these highly developed systems. They want you to go to the dealer Megabucks and pass them to change the oil. Then they use their computer to reset the computer in the car, which resets the timing oil sensor. Since you changed the oil yourself, the car still shows the indicator, because the cars had not been connected to a computer engineer so he can reset the sensor timing of oil. So, either take the dealer to ensure the reset or some independent mechanics / garages can read the computer from the car and reset it for you, thereby not having to Megabucks pay the dealer.
