1987 Carrera 3.2 vs 2009 BMW 535i?
my friend has a 2009 BMW 535i father and his pissing me off about how he keeps bragging about how he can beat my dads Carrera 3.2 which is 100% stock, but the engine was rebuilt with parts latest Porsche. tested at 225hp and 203 lb-ft tq but the car with me and my father in him a tank of gas weighs half of 2992. I think BMW has 300hp but weighs over 3300 pounds unladen weight. who do you think win in a drag to remove it. My father managed a 0-60 time of 5.5 before me and him in the car 1 / 4 mile drag race BMW 3700 Curbweight
while street racing is illegal, I read an article in 0-60 mph was 5.8 seconds and the torque is about 300 while your car as u say actually 5.5 seconds, but have U 283, so it's a close call, but one that weighs more than u or your father is out of the car, since weight is important in these things (assuming u can drive the car). and if u do not mind to spend some money on the car u can tune some things instead of all stock parts or re-service, change oil, spark plugs, checking inputs and cooling and all that stuff
