Running Costs BMW

In 1900, the automobile was a luxury hobby in Britain, and there were only 8000 cars across the UK in early 20th century, but by the end of the century the car population had soared to 21 million. The number of cars on the roads began to increase during 1920s as manufacturers began making smaller, lighter and cheaper vehicles for a wider market. Cars at that time are still relatively expensive. The Cool Austin was at the top of the range of sports and an Austin 7 car cost 152 pounds - about  £ 8500 in today's money.
The boom in car ownership has occurred in the 1950s and 60s. Possession of a car in London has quadrupled between 1950 and 1970 as the level life has increased and car prices fell. By the mid-1960s, there were 1.5 million cars registered in London and the numbers continued increase until the end of the century, where 2.2 million vehicles were registered at addresses in London.
Increase car ownership meant increasing traffic congestion. In the 1960s, the problem of traffic in London, was considered as affecting only the evening and morning rush hour in central London. It was not until the 1980s that congestion has come to pose a problem through London more or less every hour of the day. This culminated in 2003 with the introduction of the controversial London Congestion charge a fee for motorists travel in these parts of London designated as the Congestion Charge Zone (CCZ). The main objectives of this tax were to reduce congestion and raise funds for investment in London transport system.
Today, with the rising cost of oil resulting in higher price of petrol and diesel, the cost of car ownership in London is higher than ever. According to AA, the average cost of a liter of gasoline unleaded was 104.2p at the end of 2007, a liter of diesel would set you back 109.2p.
But rising fuel prices is that the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the cost of driving. According to Sainsbury's Bank, the average cost of using a car gasoline exclusion is now just over  £ 1000 per year. And if you borrowed money to purchase your vehicle, such as Most car owners have the costs are even higher.
The astronomical costs of the automobile encouraged many people wondering if need to own a car at all. If you live in a city and only the occasional need for a set of wheels it could work out considerably cheaper to abandon your vehicle and instead consider rel = "nofollow" href = "http://www.easycar.com/"> rental car rental and car clubs in the city provide a service that lets you rent cars near your home for any between a half hour and one month at a time, with the end result is that for a fraction of the cost of operating your own vehicle, you might enjoy a similar access to a driving game where you need it.

Soft Costs $70.1 High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Soft Cost is a construction industry term for an expense item that is not considered direct construction cost. Soft costs include architectural, engineering, financing, and legal fees, and other pre and postconstruction expenses. Soft Costs are essentially extra expenses incurred as a result of a delay caused by a covered loss. Some of the more common soft costs are interest charges on project financing, realty taxes or other assessments, workers overtime, advertising and promotion, costs associated with lease renegotiations and accounting, legal, architectural, or engineering fees. Soft Costs differ from hard costs in both labor and materials; they are generally not considered to be exclusively related to physical construction. Rather, they are commonly perceived to entail nonconstruction costs such as taxes, marketing expenses, interest payments, and finance charges. Bankruptcy Costs of Debt $79.66 Within the theory of corporate finance, bankruptcy costs of debt are the increased costs of financing with debt instead of equity that result from a higher probability of bankruptcy. The fact that bankruptcy is generally a costly process in itself and not only a transfer of ownership implies that these costs negatively affect the total value of the firm. These costs can be thought of as a financial cost, in the sense that the cost of financing increases because the probability of bankruptcy increases. One way to understand this is to realize that when a firm goes bankrupt investors holding its debt are likely to lose part or all of their investment, and therefore investors require a higher rate of return when investing in bonds of a firm that can easily go bankrupt. Environmental External Costs of Transport $364.83 Transport causes a wide range of damage to human health, ecosytems and materials which are not reflected in the prices for transport. Thus, the damage caused by cars, planes, ships and trains should be known and transformed into monetary values, so called external costs. Within this book, a method to estimate the external costs stemming from the emissions of atmospheric pollutants of transport, including damage from greenhouse gases, fine particles, ozone, nitrous oxides, benzene and other carcinogenic substances, is described and applied to calculate the external costs of a huge number of current and future transport techniques operating in different locations all over Europe. A number of case studies demonstrate how the results can be used to aid policy decisions. The book is an important basis for assessing transport techniques, discussing transport taxes and charges and implementing ecopolitical instruments.
