Spare Key BMW
wrong spare key!?
Beemer recently bought used from a dealer even if they said they could not not locate the spare key at the time of sale they said they would try & get it from previous owners, they had 1 but it dont fit my car and I can get a replacement main garage, BMW at a cost of £ 100 + due to it having to be programmed for the car to the garage where cover was as if they provided me with something to work with any feedback would be appreciated
Unfortunately those used car sales will tell you anything to make a sale. If you buy the car on the floor of the seller to will get the spare key for you, you get no return. If you had something in writing, then it would be another issue, but Im guessing this was an oral agreement in this case. One of my good friends is a field manager for an automobile dealer of second hand with many sites in my area and, apparently to get a sale of their motto is: "Bullsh * t, Bullsh * t, bullsh * t" Sorry, but the car dealers of second hand most follow this code of practice.
