Supreme Power BMW
The BMW M3, the automaker based in Munich, the sports version of the popular BMW 3-Series compact luxury car will be something new under the hood lines pure. BMW Group has recently launched the details of its new V8 engine from the M3 2-door sports coupe and convertible.
The new 3.2-liter engine Straight six V8 has 8 cylinders, which is the first time for the BMW M3 models. With more cylinders and a greater ability to travel, this new engine BMW M3 offers excellent performance and powerful at 430 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. amount of peak torque marking his sports car. Although the new V8 offers a powerful performance vehicle the engine also reduces exhaust emissions as rival sports car, the Mercedes-Benz C55 AMG which also emissions on its own exhaust Mercedes Benz. - Unique thrust and muscle ensured by consistent implementation of the M-concept of high engine speed, engine speed 8300 rpm.
- Consistent lightweight construction of engine and ancillary units, new V8 power unit of the lightest eight-cylinders in the world, lighter than the inline six-cylinder power unit in the old model.
- Control of the variable camshaft, low-pressure double-VANOS for an optimum charge cycle, system offering full power and performance even with normal engine oil pressure.
- Eight individual throttle butterflies for spontaneous engine response.
- Consistent and reliable oil supply with longitudinal and lateral acceleration up to 1.4 g ensured by two oil pumps and oil of wet-sump lubrication optimized for the dynamic behavior supreme.
- Optimized exhaust system loaded cylinders, optimized for weight and function by means of internal consolidation at high pressure, exhaust emissions EU4 and LEV 2 meet standards.
- Last Update MSS60 engine control unit for optimum coordination of all engine functions with different control systems in the car.
- Ion flow technology to recognize and distinguish the phenomena engine knock and misfire and miscombustion by measurement of ion flow in the combustion chambers.
- Brake Energy Regeneration with intelligent control of the alternator.
