ensuring the BMW X5 2002?
Hye, I'm owndering if I can buy an extended warranty for my BMW X5 2002 3.0i with 69k miles on it?? Is that this warranty covers fixed sensors that change or ABS as ABS module or fixing window cleaner or somethign like that? also can I purchase plan maintanace and change the oil and etc. for free?
You certainly can. Your X5 is out of its factory warranty of two years and 19,000 miles, but you have two extended warranty options. The first is by BMW. They have two programs that interest you had was, 'Pre-Paid Repair Plan "and" Pre-Paid Maintenance Plan. The other is through third party providers. It is very similar to health insurance. It can be quite expensive but can really help if a serious problem arises. Typically you select a level of coverage and at what mileage, what will be covered (they usually have a deductible and co-payment as health insurance well). Thus, you can just cover the powertrain up to 80.000 miles or have full coverage up to 120,000 (eg). Plans third are usually not so great for owners of BMW. Facilities they use can sometimes be under-or unskilled work with our powertrains. Go with a real plan of BMW you can always have technicians trained to work on your car. You will not be "Free oil changes" with a foreground of BMW pays child support but what you get is a low cost, long-term changes Oil, rotations, etc. rather than paying for them individually. It is a way for BMW to ensure they have your business and a good way to save you some money in the long term. Hope that helps.
